ABC East Coast Giving Back
Welcome to Associated Builders and Contractors. Today we are here to interview Peter Dyga, president and CEO of ABC Florida East Coast. Between something happening and before the workers comp or insurance or other things kick in, there’s that gap where they need the most help, you know, to make sure they get to that next phase of their lives.
And that’s kind of why ABC Cares was created. I’ve been spending time getting to know the people who have been driving ABC Cares since 2008. I’ve learned who planted the seed money with Rex Kirby. We interviewed him. My first interview was with Clay Fisher who supports ABC Cares annually. Can you talk a little bit about others like them who have really kept the needle moving forward for ABC Cares?
So, you know, obviously we had our champions that were so supportive of the mission and the vision. We’re going to continue to support it financially through events as a chapter, but we need to grow our champions, the people that make this part of their planning. With having you, you know, as our first full time employee at ABC Cares on board in the community, it’s going to be more and more aware of us, the good that ABC Cares does, and it’s the premier organization to give to in order to give back.
